The Slave ID command returns the ASCII string “xxPVP Inverter IDxxxxx”, for example

“0x50,0xFF,PVP Inverter ID02860910080321”. The rst “xx” represents two non-ASCII

bytes, representing the following information:

Byte 1: 0x50 - An identier byte for PVP inverters

Byte 2: 0x00 - If communication with the inverter is down,

0xFF - If communication with the inverter is okay.

Byte 3 through byte n: Contains “

PVP Inverter IDxxxxx”.
